Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

As a Society, our memories are warm and strong when we consider the great blessing and edification that we enjoyed July of 2004, when it was our privilege to host a great gathering of the brethren here in Prince George (Rom. 15:7). Again, many of our members were blessed this last summer, in Edmonton.

For some time we have considered hosting another event, for this coming summer when we celebrate 12 years as a Society. At this time, Lord willing, we are entertaining an ambitious 2.5-day program, and desire to be a blessing at social, physical and spiritual levels. Depending on interest, our hope is to develop a balanced program with relevance to all ages. With that in mind, we are exploring a number of facilities in our area, that might facilitate as much time together as possible.

We will continue to consider appropriate activities and discussion workshops; however at this point, our program is tentative. Though we hope for their circumstantial trials to improve by that time, with the current uncertainties surrounding the three Elders, we will not assume their ability to attend. If so, we understand that would place even greater burden upon us to deliver a worthwhile event for you, the weekend of Friday, June 30 through Sunday, July 2, 2006.

What is certain, is that fellowservants (Rev. 6:11) who share like precious faith and suffer many common burdens ought to edify one another as they have occasion to do so (1Thess. 5:11). At something just under 60 families in Christ (Rom. 12:5), we need all the encouragement our Lord mercifully affords us. In our common unity, we will be inviting program input from all possible participants, and as well, looking to invite leadership participation where ones gifts may be of particular use.
